Long Term Care Partnership
| All health producers licensed before July 14, 2008 have one year to complete an 8 hour initial training on Long Term Care Insurance. This requirement was mandated under the Deficit Reduction Act of 2005 and under the NAIC Model Law 641 passed into law in Oklahoma. All producers licensed after July 14, 2008 have to complete this training in order to sell any long term care insurance. At each license renewal, producers are required to complete 4 hours of training on long term care insurance. THIS REQUIREMENT APPLIES TO ALL PRODUCERS SELLING LONG TERM CARE INSURANCE POLICIES. |
