This four hour course meets the NAIC and South Carolina requirements for Annuity Suitability.  In addition, you must complete company training on their annuity products.  South Carolina requires a monitor and proctor exam form for the final examination.

Exam Proctor Requirements: Must be a Disinterested Third Party and not someone who is: (A) a minor; (B) a relative of the producer; (C) an immediate supervisor/manager of the producer, or (D) a person with an economic or other interest in assuring the successful outcome of the examination

Online Version – This course covers the working of types, advantages, and disadvantages, features of fixed rate, variables, and investment accounts in variable annuities.  In addition, it compares variable annuities to mutual funds.  Other topics would include Equity-indexed annuities, review of insurers, insurer’s ratings, tax-sheltered (tax deferred) annuities, annuities in financial planning, and commonly asked questions.
