Topics include: qualified health plans, essential health benefits, minimum coverage, exemptions, financial assistance, Medicaid, basic health insurance concepts, policy provisions, health insurance marketplace (exchange), functions of the exchanges, small business health options program (SHOP), navigator’s roles and responsibility, HIPAA, privacy, outreach and education, Illinois Statutes, rules and regulations.
