In order to pass the Illinois Life Insurance Examination, you must pass Part 1 ( General Product Knowledge) and Part 2 (Illinois Statues and Regulations).
Part 1 has 50 questions covering types of policies; policy provisions, riders and options; completing the application, taxes, retirements and other insurance concepts plus 10 additional questions that are not scored.
Part 2 has 31 questions covering: statutes and regulations pertinent to all lines of insurance (22 questions); statutes and regulations pertinent to life insurance only (9 Questions) plus 8 additional questions that are not scored.
