In order to pass the Illinois Accident and Health Insurance Examination, you must pass Part 1 ( General Product Knowledge) and Part 2 (Illinois Statues and Regulations).
Part 1 has 50 questions covering : types of policies (14 questions); policy provisions, riders and options (20 questions); completing the application, taxes, social insurance and other insurance concepts (16 questions). There are 10 additional questions that are not scored.
Part 2 has 29 questions covering: statutes and regulations pertinent to all lines of insurance (22 questions); statutes and regulations pertinent to accident and health insurance (14 questions); and managed care (3 questions). There are 8 additional questions that are not scored.
