In order to pass the Illinois Property Insurance Examination, you must pass Part 1 ( General Product Knowledge) and Part 2 (Illinois Statues and Regulations).
Part 1 has 50 questions covering types of policies (25 questions); policy provisions, riders and options (12 questions); insurance terms and other insurance concepts( 14 questions); policy provisions & contract law (11 questions) plus 10 additional questions that are not scored.
Part 2 has 37 questions covering: statutes and regulations pertinent to all lines of insurance (22 questions); statutes and regulations pertinent to casualty insurance only (5 Questions); statutes that pertinent to property and casualty (3 questions) plus 7 additional questions that are not scored.
